What marine electronics services does PARACOMM provide?
PARACOMM supplies, installs, commissions and services marine navigation systems (radar, ECDIS, GNSS, gyrocompass, AIS and VDR), GMDSS and radio communication equipment, satellite connectivity, bridge and engine room automation, electrical systems, and Admiralty charts and publications. Work is carried out onboard by factory-trained engineers.
Which regions and ports do you cover?
Our engineering base is in Dubai, UAE, with service coverage across the GCC and attendance arranged at international ports. We also operate from Mumbai in India, Singapore, and Dammam in Saudi Arabia, so vessels can be supported along most major trading routes.
Can you carry out an annual GMDSS radio survey?
Yes. We perform annual GMDSS radio surveys, EPIRB and SART testing, and SOLAS compliance inspections, and we issue the class-ready and flag-state documentation required to close out the survey. Surveys can be scheduled around port calls to avoid vessel downtime.
Do you install Starlink and VSAT on ships?
We install and support maritime VSAT, Starlink and L-band satellite systems, including antenna installation, below-deck integration, network failover between links, bandwidth management, and separation of business traffic from crew welfare internet.
Which manufacturers and brands do you support?
We service more than 60 OEM brands, including Furuno, JRC, Sperry Marine, Kongsberg, Tokyo Keiki, Anschütz, Danelec, Rutter, Sailor, Intellian, Inmarsat, Iridium and Starlink, and we supply genuine spare parts and consumables for the equipment we support.
How quickly can you attend a vessel breakdown?
Our service desk operates 24/7. For vessels calling at UAE ports we normally arrange attendance within the same port call, and for other locations we coordinate an engineer, spares and any required class documentation before the vessel arrives.
Do you supply Admiralty charts and digital publications?
Yes. We supply Admiralty paper charts, ENCs and digital licences along with nautical publications, and we provide correction services and worldwide delivery so vessels stay chart-compliant and inspection-ready.
